Fabulous Friday

We had a busy day on Friday, and we were all still a bit exhausted from our efforts in the Cross Country on Thursday.

A highlight was making some toast and tasting the comb honey that Taiko had brought along to share. Taiko had been reading about honey bees in his reading book earlier in the week. YUM - Thanks Taiko!
If you're interested in finding out some more about bees you could visit this website.
There is an interesting clip here on You Tube showing life inside a bee hive.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what the purple bits are...

After lunch we had a visit from our buddies. We did a craft activity with them and found out that it is tricky being the Big Buddy sometimes. We were working on our People Smarts as we helped our buddies with their Body and Picture Smarts. More on this later, watch this space...
