One group were reading about stranded whales today. There is a group of people called Project Jonah who help save these whales. You can read more about them and their work at their website.
This is another site that you might find some interesting reading on. It is called Care for Whales. It is an old website that hasn't had much information put on it since 2009, but it was developed by a Christchurch school. The competition is not current.
