Sports Day Thoughts - Before

Piper: I love being outside doing lots of fun activities.

Taiko: I love the high jump and the sprints because I am good at them.

Mia: I love the relays - I'm a fast runner and I like being part of a team.

Kate: I like sprints because I get to run my fastest and that makes me stronger.

Tom: I like high jump and sprints because they're good exercise and I'm good at them.

Yuya: I love the sprints because I like the challenge of running in a race.

Jacob: I like the high jump  because I'm good at it and I enjoy the challenge of trying to jump higher all the time.

Bella: I like the shot put because I like the feel of the weight of it and the way you put it.

Issy: I like the long jump because when you leap from one foot to land onto two, a cool breeze rushes past your face and that's nice if it's a hot day.

Meg: I like the sprints because I'm good at it and I like to hear people cheering for me.

Molly:I like shot put because it's challenging for me and you have to remember to have a clean palm and dirty neck. You need to use your other arm to make your throw more powerful.

Triny: I love running for the relay team because I like representing Room 17.

Jack H: I like shot put  because I've got powerful arms.

Maddie: I like shot put. I like the feel of it rubbing my neck as I give it a powerful push.

Thomas W: I like sprints because it is challenging for me and I think I'm improving all the time.

Olivia: I like running for the relay team because I like a good challenge and hearing Room 17 cheering.

Blake: I like shot put because I get to throw the metal ball and I don't like getting my palm dirty.

Emma: I like high jump because I like doing the scissors, I have mastered the technique.

Ben: I like sprints because it gives me a good boost.

Tane: I like sprints because I'm good at it and it's a great chance to run fast and I love to do that.

Thomas A: I like sprints because it gives me a kick to run so fast.

Ambyr: I like sprints because it is fun challenging other girls and discus is fun for me because I like aiming it far away.

Jack C : The shot put  will be a real challenge because the shot puts are metal now.

We all  love having family and friends cheering for us and encouraging us to do our best and to try our hardest.
