Paying Forward the Love and Joy

We wanted to pay forward all the kindness and care we have received this year and we did that! We brought joy and happiness to the Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village.
We all enjoyed seeing the audience:

  • smiling
  • clapping along as we danced
  • tapping their toes
  • lip syncing some of the songs as we sang them
We enjoyed hearing the audience:
  • clapping and singing along
  • telling us about when they went to St Albans School
  • telling us about their grandchildren who went to St Albans
  • talking about their mothers who shared our names
It sure was warm in there! We danced, sang, read a story and sang the chorus, then we gave some of the people a christmas fairy. We were surprised to see so many people in the audience (about 60) and we had to share the fairies out amongst them.

It was a wonderful thing to pay forward all the good that has come our way this year. We certainly made a difference to those people. The funny thing is though that we all felt so good having done it!  I guess it goes to show "the more you give the more you get!"

Sorry that I forgot to arrange for any photos or video to be taken.
