Pencil Grip

I've posted a couple of photos of correct pencil grip - right and left handed.
Please encourage your child to hold pens and pencils correctly.

A right handed grip.

A left handed grip.

Why is it important? Children are better able to sustain tidy writing using the correct grip. This does become an issue when they have to sit written tests when they are older. In the long run it is better if we can make correct pencil grip a habit when they are young.
