Busy Issy

Issy made some pikelets to take to a friend's house for morning tea today. They look good enough to eat don't they?

Issy has also made an observational drawing of this flower from her garden. Dave's mum calls these flowers Paper Whites. They smell pretty too. Thanks Issy for sharing this with us.

I hope everybody has had a good day today. I spent some time down at school scooping up some liquefaction and tidying up the staffroom.
When I got home an unusual thing happened to me - I felt like doing some gardening! That doesn't happen often (as you would realise if you ever saw our garden). But today I was moved to pull out weeds and plant a few plants that will flower throughout the winter. Mary helped me for a while which was nice too.
