Autumn - but only just!

In the first week of this term we went out and did some observational writing. We used our senses, especially sight, hearing and touch, to write about what we noticed.  When we had written some ideas we went back inside to warm up!
We rewrote our observations over the next few days. We tried to add some pizazz to them. We might have used onomatopoeia, simile, alliteration, personification or interesting verbs (doing words) to do this.
The result is a book of some fabulous Autumn Poems.
If you click the link above you will be able to "go" to a virtual book to read these poems.
