Explanations

This week we have been learning about how to write explanations. This is a form of transactional writing.
An explanation begins with a title which is a question.
The next part is the introduction which tells the reader the main answer to the question.
After the introduction come some details. These give the reader a fuller answer to the question.
Finally we need to write a summary. This give the main answer again but written in a different way. It might include some information form the details section of the writing.

In the following 5 posts you will find the explanations Room Seventeen wrote for the question;
Why Do Children go to School?

To find your work quickly you should go to the labels section of our blog (it's on the left hand side) and click on your name. The post with your writing in it should come to the top of the page.
