Every Tuesday morning in the newspaper you will find an advertising brochure full of little photos of kitchen appliances. We have been collecting these brochures this term and the other week we created robots by sticking bits and pieces from the brochures together. Sometimes we needed to use the old scrinch ( a cross between a squint and a scrunch) up the eyes trick to see how we could use a picture best.
After the robot had been created, the artist had to write the robot's story. Finally the artist and writer became a broadcaster and recorded the story for us all to enjoy. We all agree that we hate hearing our own voices because they don't sound like we think we sound. Despite that we are very proud of the videos showcasing the Room 17 Robots.
