When we were learning about Mo Willems and his fabulous books, Matua Te Haere translated The Pigeon Wants a Puppy into Māori for us. We copied the illustrations and FINALLY this week we published Kei te Pīrangi te Kererū i te Punua Kurī.On Tuesday after sport we delivered the pukapuka nui to Te Tikanga Rua Reo. Whaea Leslie challenged Ms Ashby to read the story and the Room 17 tamariki translated it.
